These traditional Greek cookies, are typically made for Easter but they are commonly eaten with morning coffee or afternoon tea.They are a butter-based pastry, traditionally hand-shaped, with egg glaze on top.They have a sweet delicate flavor with a hint of vanilla. These koulourakia came well packed in a box that was wrapped in protective foam so they wouldn't break and they didn't! The koulourakia were tasty and we all enjoyed them with our Easter desserts. I wish they were covered in sesame seeds like my Yiayia made but otherwise they were really good.
